Keyscope v0.50.0 arrives today!
In this release, we've added a new Data Stack (Standalone) icon to the Activity Bar, bringing direct access to Redis, Valkey, Upstash (RW/RO), Cloudflare R2, and D1 connections.
Highlights:
• Redis & Valkey Logs: View logs directly within Keyscope.
• Live Keyspace Inspector: Track object counts by type per DB; Console changes sync instantly with the key list.
• Seamless DB Switching: Switch via the Console header selector, or run a SELECT command to auto-update the active database context.
• OS Keychain Security: Securely store Cloudflare R2 & D1 credentials locally. No need to re-enter them every time.

A security vulnerability has been identified in the Dart engine used by Keyscope v0.44.0 for network communications. The bundled BoringSSL library in Dart 3.13.5 does not read the Windows certificate blocklist, which may expose users to man-in-the-middle (MitM) attacks (CWE-295).
To address this issue, Keyscope v0.50.0 will be released first with Dart 3.13.7, which includes the security fix. Real-time watch support for Redis and Valkey will be introduced in a subsequent release.
v0.50.0 includes real-time watch support for Redis and Valkey. Before being merged into the main Redis/Valkey view, it will first be available as an early preview in each server's Details tab.

Flutter 3.47.8 (stable) & 3.50.0-0.2.pre (beta) are now live.
This critical release addresses the eMudhra CA key compromise. If you target Android, Windows, or Linux, run flutter upgrade and rebuild your apps to protect users from potential TLS spoofing. https://t.co/vU35F0lP1H
The next release, v0.50.0, will bring back Redis & Valkey support.
We know many of you have been waiting for their return. In fact, Redis & Valkey account for over 80% of our daily download demand.
Alongside this release, Keyscope's built-in Redis & Valkey engine will be upgraded from v5.0 to v6.0. Redis has evolved significantly since the previous implementation, and we're working to incorporate as many major improvements as possible.
We're pushing hard to deliver it as quickly as possible. Stay tuned!
The biggest surprise was the gap between X and Threads. On X, 800+ views felt more like impressions than reaching the right audience. On Threads, we saw 2K views in 1–2 days, with over 1K unique viewers. We didn't expect that at all. It's enough for us to consider making Threads our primary channel.
0 followers, but Keyscope just crossed 1K views and unlocked the 1K card on Threads in two days.
Much appreciated. The journey continues.

👎 Manually checking types, keys, and casting elements creates unnecessary boilerplate.
👍 Dart if-case statements let you match a pattern and destructure data directly inside an if-condition.

One of the most rewarding comments after releasing Multi-Cluster Groups:
"the feature i never knew i wanted... the daily ritual of switching between staging and prod is so annoying, this kills it."
Sometimes the best features aren't the ones users ask for directly. They're the ones that quietly kill a daily friction.
I'm looking for more people on X who actually make things.
AI tools, little SaaS projects, WordPress plugins, PHP, JavaScript, whatever. Doesn't matter if you're learning or you've been at it for 20 years.
I'd rather follow someone showing off a scrappy weekend project than another account dispensing startup wisdom.
What are you working on?

With the new Multi-Cluster Group feature introduced in this release, you can now bookmark multiple groups directly in the Activity Bar.
Get instant access without manually selecting clusters every time. No more switching clusters back and forth between clusters like in apps limited to a single multi-cluster setup.
