Heavenly Father,

We lift up before You every teacher who stands at the threshold of a new school year. Thank You for the sacred calling You have placed upon their lives—to shape minds, nurture hearts, and plant seeds of truth, knowledge, and character in the next generation.

Grant them wisdom that comes from above—clear insight to understand each student’s needs, creativity to make learning come alive, and discernment to guide with both firmness and grace. Fill them with patience when the days grow long, strength when energy fades, and joy that renews their spirit daily.

Protect them, Lord, in body, mind, and soul. Guard their classrooms as places of safety, respect, and growth. Surround them with supportive colleagues, understanding administrators, and encouraging families. When challenges arise, remind them that You walk beside them, and that their labor in You is never in vain.

May every lesson they teach, every word of encouragement they speak, and every act of kindness they show reflect Your love. Let them see the eternal impact of their faithful work, and may they rest each night knowing they have been instruments of Your purpose.

We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
