Purple Heart recipient vet is being told by the VA he’s not allowed to help other vets learn about how to get their benefits.

Why is the VA trying to stop vets from getting their benefits? @Lukas_Simianer is trying to educate vets about how to navigate the insane bureaucracy that is the VA. Apparently the VA doesn’t want vets to get their benefits so they are trying to shut this veteran down.

The VA has interpreted 38
U.S.C. § 5904 to allow them to block vets from getting help from anyone outside the VA club; their reading is expansive and - in this application - denies vets their First Amendment right of association. Is one thing to require attorneys to practice law - it’s another to block people from providing educational services.

Honestly this is insane.

I just waited over 20 minutes for the comment line at the White House this morning. I was color number four. It was well worth the wait.

I explained who I was I then started off with today is the 327th day that Brian Cole Junior is being wrongfully incarcerated and accused, and that he needs to be released immediately and then went on to explain that CCTV from Washington DC clearly puts him in another part of the city at the same exact time that United States capital Police Officer was placing pipe bombs at the RNC and the DNC. I explained that Brian is a young autistic black man who voted twice for President Trump the response that I got was nothing that I ever imagined normally it’s a thank you this time.
