On this day 24 years ago, I was just a 24 year old kid, renting a place with my sisters as we navigated life after college. There was uncertainty and fear as the events of 9/11 unfolded. As heavy as those memories are, we also remember the unity we felt on 9/12.
There was no left and right. We were one family. One country. Today I feel that same uncertainty and fear for what kind of country we’ve become and what kind of country we’ll leave our kids. Charlie Kirk said frequently, “when others are looking left and right, look up”.
