And the tour comes to a close in Toronto. My ears are still ringing. My heart is still full. What a closer! Thank you to @chaptersindigo for throwing the best party imaginable for @rickriordan and I.
We are excited to welcome @stratfest back to Central Library! Costumes are now on display in the Reading Lounge and we have a four-part lecture series in April about the upcoming season. For program details visit

Massive GO Transit improvements beginning April 8, including:
- Weekend GO Train service on the Kitchener Line between Union and Mt Pleasant
- New GO bus route connecting Waterloo, Guelph, Aldershot, and Hamilton
- Milton line buses permanently redirected to the Lakeshore W Line
I know what people are trying to highlight by saying things like "some ppl can't afford to be depressed because they'd end up on the streets"
but it also glosses over just how many people do end up unhoused for that very reason
Things I try to do without fail:
•cancel free trials the very minute I sign up
•put plan into my calendar app immediately
•pile up things I need to take with me in front of the door so I have to trip over them to leave
•have fair & supportive dialogue with myself about ADHD
if you have ADHD you should make your life with it easier in whatever way you can. it sounds so obvious but after years of trying to bend my behaviour towards “the good way” I’ve realised there’s so much more potential payoff in looking for shortcuts & aids to how I already am
This year, Rad Riot Books and City of Waterloo Museum's Hear Our Stories Podcast collaborated to highlight the inspiring community leaders in #WatReg through books. Inspired by them and their work, we created a booklist to help us fight against injustice through literature.
