UPDATE: Governor Brian Kemp will not be extending the state gas tax suspension, allowing it to expire Tuesday night at midnight. #gapol
The 33 cent a gallon tax on gasoline and 37 cent a gallon tax on diesel will come back into effect over the next few days. https://t.co/uvVp1PBEP5
Here is the statement from a spokesperson for the Governor.
"After renewing the suspension of the state gas tax to help hardworking Georgians get through the Memorial Day weekend with further relief, and with oil prices now holding relatively steady, the gas tax suspension will expire at 11:59pm tomorrow while the state also keeps a financial eye toward any unexpected needs in the future."
@Lisa_See Do you know if we can buy our books and bring them? You probably arenโt signing any apart from the VIP ones, I suspect. Or will there be books there to buy?
@BarackObama Will be making a trip to Chicago to see this as soon as we have the $. I'd like to visit all the Presidential Libraries. We love the Carter Center here in Atlanta. It brings back lots of emotions/memories. The history in it is fabulous. Not to mention the great work done thru it.
@ReverendWarnock Sighโฆ itโs all gerrymandering. But no one can figure out a fair way to do it. Ironically it creates pockets of areas where people end up moving to so they will have a voice. Somehow we need to figure out a way for everyone to have a voice without forcing people into tight groups
@JamesCarne49587 Pray for Godโs mercy like you would for anyone else. A relationship is between each person and God. We can only speak for ourselves, we will never know for sure if the other person has a relationship. Itโs a private thing in the very end.
@BethMooreLPM I always figure itโs really up to God as to who is chosen to speak the word at any given moment. No one will ever convince me that he declares HALF of his own creation โnot qualifiedโ.
