Thank you @ClaireHMajor and @kforgard for sharing your knowledge and experience in the POGIL Best Practices in an Asynchronous Environment webinar. I finally watched it (https://t.co/FMS4ECyS8O) and took some notes here: https://t.co/53hoRjhOTF.
I wrote out some thoughts on how to make this moment a real turning point to bring about real change––and pulled together some resources to help young activists sustain the momentum by channeling their energy into concrete action. https://t.co/jEczrOeFdv

@WSJ So what happens when employers discover that most people work at a certain pace, but still get the job done? Will they ask them to "step it up"? Will they start firing in mass if new productivity goals aren't met? Will everyone be so stressed that they just burn out?
@immendorf Molly, this is a good example of not knowing how to set up a test in an LMS. I wonder why not being able to go back to a question is somehow a measure of student learning or if its just a habit of test design. Students with disabilities could probably also call this out. Thanks!
Let's admit that students will cheat. There is a industry built on ways to prevent cheating. Why not address this with students? How do we design courses that just discourage cheating? Or, design courses that encourage learning?
‘we need to..ask ourselves: What are the learning goals of the final exam, or the final project?..and ask: ‘Is this the only way I can get to those outcomes, or are there other options?’ And chances are, the answer is there are other options.’ https://t.co/v7CD1stDHx
I picked up dinner from my favorite restaurant last night. They called me 10 minutes later asking, "How are the first few bites?" And then asked if I wanted another beer from the fridge.
