We read a nonfiction piece entitled Sense of a Goose and the students participated in a Socratic Seminar. Which traits of the geese are important for humans? Why? How is this applicable in our classroom? The students expressed themselves well.

My students last day of school has come and gone. Some of their sweet faces will return next year but others are moving on to middle school. I find it hard to believe this school year is over! It has been a wonderful year of firsts with the GT Multi Age class.
