@AmericaSoccerFC @kolby_crawford The NCAA can’t do anything about it. They have tried enforcing various rules with respect to transfers and NIL but have lost every time it gets challenged in court. Blame the courts.

@jpohank @geoffschwartz Conference expansion is the bigger issue as it created significantly unbalanced conference schedules. 6 power conferences of 10 teams with round robin play, a conference championship game, and 8 team playoff would be way better to fairly determine a champion.

@jpohank @geoffschwartz Miami and FSU will be trying to reboot via the portal and might not be any good. Also I’d contend the tough schedule and ability to show progress against quality competition may have saved Napier’s job this year. UF used to play UGA, LSU, and Tenn every year anyway.

@bthokie2 @DaveScarangella According to the courts, the NCAA is not legally allowed to establish the rules to do what you are suggesting. They had those rules in place for decades but they have lost every court case where they’ve tried to limit or restrict NIL.

However, Oregon is four steps from finishing the season undefeated.
