my coworkers have openly said that money is the only thing that matters and if they had to choose between money and happiness theyd choose money.. I truly thought growing up people told us that all the time but I never thought people ACTUALLY would pick money over happiness...

I’m sitting at the Starbucks drive thru and I had a small flashback to Friday morning peak when I worked at my first store. At first I thought I missed working it, and all my Starbucks friends, but as the cars line up behind me I realize no I don’t 🥲

It's still crazy to me that 6 months ago I was in a completely different role where I was under appreciated, underpaid, and over worked. I honestly can't imagine doing anything else other than what I'm doing now and where I see my career with this company going.
