I am a family man, biologist and care deeply about my community social inequities loss of biodiversity pollution climate change and our reliance on oil
@furmsies Wrt separation The FN will have a lot to say about that. The boundaries wonβt be what the separatists think. Land claims will abound. Go Oilers Go!
@armstrongcbc Please fact check this statement from your article: households and businesses are in the midst of the most aggressive cycle of interest rate hikesΒ this country has ever seen. Having lived the crushing interest rates of the early 80s spiralling to 21% I find this hard to believe
@JL_Braden Imperial system is so awkward and dumb. All the units do not relate to anything to easily calculate and understand volume , area, mass, speed, temperature etc on a vast or microscopic level. The only exception could be using Kelvin instead of Celsius.
@AnnaBBurns@SurreyNowLeader@tomzytaruk That road is effin ugly and useless. Bear Creek Park had so much potential to be expanded and made even. All we get now is a plugged 84 and 88th Ave. and a ruined park. 84 Avenue was already extremely busy before this road. The south end was so much better without the road.
@thingleaderof5@CityofSurrey@delford For those of us involved for > 25 years now, we have asked for this opportunity over and over again. At no time has the city ever done meaningful consultation whether this road should be built in the first place. The only bogus consultation was about road design.
@BCLions I remember him well. One of my all-time favourite players. I watch the 63 and 64 grey cups as a kid. This is a very special lions hat. I do not wear it very often as it is a special Momento. Signed by Joe and Willie. I wear it today. Condolences to his family, friends & colleagues
@SurreyMayor Should read: In Bear Creek Park we cut hundreds of trees, destroyed habitat, ruined salmon spawning, killed tranquility, added pollution noise and cars all for a useless road. #savebearcreekpark
@EstateLevy Early 80βs much worse. Vast number of foreclosures. Folks gave up. Though banks foreclosed they still stayed in their homes. We took a chance and bought 1st home at market bottom at 21%. If the country was going down we were going with it. We barely survived over next 8 yrs.
Well apparently it is not offside if the player is in control of the puck before the blueline. I kew about the backwards approach being ok, but not this.
@maxfawcett@CPC_HQ continually display their ignorance on the C-tax. Economists, Eco fiscal commission ( with fromer Con MPs) company CEOs, economic professors all agree the C-tax works and is not a burden. it incentivizes C reduction and rewards effort. I trust them - NOT you.
