When the media reports on fraud and corruption by whites, they make it seem like an inconvenient mistake or mere lapse of judgement on perpetrators' part.

There is never in-depth scrutiny that black people get subjected to.

Take these cases for example:

- A R4 billion fraud by Kastello, whose chairman is the DA's Finance Head, Mark Burke. The media make it seem like is just a mere exchange control violation, when it is a massive fraud where unauthorised offshore transfers were disguised as clients' foreign investment allowances.

- Another R4 billion fraud at Tongaat-Hullet was reported as "an accounting irregularity". Former executives have been charged with fraud, yet we still don't know what properties they own and cars they drive, as it would have been the case if they were black.

- The R365 billion fraud perpetrated by Markus Jooste at Steinhoff was also reported as "accounting irregularity". The DA which was linked to Markus Jooste and Steinhof has never been made the face of this fraud, in spite of evidence of direct links; yet the EFF was made the face of VBS when there is no link that fraud.

- The CEO of Private preschool group KleuterZone, CEO Anthonie Bougas, vanished with R500 million belonging to investors and we don't even know how he looks like and which political party he is linked to.

- Lawyer Ronald Bobroff stole close to a R1 billion from RAF claimants and fled to Australia in 2016. He was a regular commentator on Radio 702. The media has never hounded people linked to these scumbags and make them the face of crimes they committed. That is reserved for only black people.

Alongside addressing the NSFAS Top Up, which will leave many students with DEBT, the student accommodation middleman schemes, today, we will ask Buti Manamela’s Administrator, Hlengani Mathebula, why he paid his Advisors through private companies rather than normal payroll.

Moreover, the NSFAS Act is clear that remuneration of both the Administrator and his Advisors must be approved by the Finance Minister.

We now know that such approval does not exist!

The looting at NSFAS will need a Madlanga Commission of its own. Buti Manamela must be stopped!

Buti Manamela is incompetent, incoherent, incorrigible, and cannot be saved. He must just go!

After claiming to approve the appointment of 4 Advisors to the NSFAS Administrator, he now says he does not know how much they are being paid, and whether or not he approved the amounts.

If just 2 Advisors invoiced NSFAS nearly HALF A MILLION for July alone. Without even counting the cost of the Administrator, his Advisors alone are likely to cost the entity over R 24 MILLION over the period.

All of this without any approval from the Minister of Finance as is required by the Act.

In the video he is just aimlessly mumbling! You can barely make out what he is saying.

South Africa's students deserve better than this. Buti Manamela is not the solution and cannot be trusted by the youth of this country, students in particular!

In 2009, when the Commander in Chief was the President of the ANC Youth League, he criticised greedy Yellow Communists, who talk left and walk right, driven by greed.

What we are seeing in the Minister of Higher Education is nothing but greedy Yellow Communism.

People who pretend to be for poor students and young people, while driving self interest and greed.

The R 60 Billion budget of NSFAS must be rescued from Yellow Communists!

The High Court has ruled!

The most incompetent Minister has lost his case on placing NSFAS under Administration WITH COSTS AT SCALE C!

Buti Manamela is a monumental failure and embarrassment. I am starting to see why he was a Deputy all these years. He is simple out of depth, and cannot handle this responsibility.

Keeping him as Minister will do more damage to him than good. The guy is just not ready!

We told him on 29 May 2026, that he will lose this case.

He runs the department of Higher Education in the most clandestine and criminal manner. He convenes secret meeting, disregards the law and all legislation, and appoints the most dodgy characters across all entities!

The Board is back! His friend, the Administrator, and ALL 4 Advisors who were going to be paid MILLIONS ILLEGALLY must pack their bags and leave Cape Town before the end of business day.

Stealing from NSFAS is not different to stealing from a Hospital.

Many students fall to depression, drugs and alcohol abuse because they are told there is no money to fund their education.

Many are forced out of their residences because landlords are not paid.

Many fall prey to sexual exploitation because allowances are not paid.

Many take their own lives because they get wrongfully defunded.

Many go hungry because their allowances are delayed or withheld, leaving them unable to afford basic necessities.

Many are forced to drop out because of administrative failures.

When money meant to serve young people is stolen, the consequences are not just measured in rands and cents. We must measure it in destroyed lives and futures.

There are over 1 Million students on NSFAS in South Africa.

If we do not win against the criminals, we will be surrendering the future of over 1 Million young people.

South Africans, young and old, must join the EFF in this fight.

Buti Manamela must go!

Young Professionals, Teachers, Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Accountants etc. have to pay membership fees to professional bodies like SACE, HPCSA, LPC, ECSA and SAICA, even when they are UNEMPLOYED.

The EFF is demanding parliamentary intervention to STOP this unjust practice!

Imagine how much will be spent in 7 YEARS!

Young people must never believe the LIE that we don’t have enough money to FUND Education.

Buti Manamela is refusing to respond to the EFF letter on this heist, sent on 14 July 2026.

His friends must tell him we are not going to retreat on this fight.

First, his appearance before the portfolio committee on higher education was disastrous. He seemed woefully unprepared, out of depth and inept. Even the ANC, his party, struggled to protect him from embarrassment. He didn’t seem to know how many advisers Hlengani Mathebula, the administrator of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), had hired.
