@AmericanAir I know these are “privileged problems”, but this trip is such a waste…it would not have been so bad if your baggage claim people in Miami at claim 23 in the D concourse had just been empathetic or just a little nice.

Decided to treat myself to a five day four night much needed vacation to St Lucia. I am debating just going home. This experience on @AmericanAir has been challenging. If your fleet is aging, fix it. Missed my connection due to a cargo door not being able to close.

I get that things happen. But @AmericanAir you need to do better. A cargo door mechanical issue should not derail my trip. Technology has advanced enough to predict when planes will need to be down to do proactive smart maintenance and repair.

I kept asking where are the bags from CLT? When they finally decided to take me seriously, they then realized my bags were on hold. I work 60-80hrs a week. When I land it will take two hours to get to my resort. I just want to cry 😭.

No maintenance crews onsite in a Monday morning. They had to be woken up to come to the airport. One flight a day from charlotte. Decided to go to Miami to avoid being stranded in CLT in case the Tuesday flight is delayed or cancelled. Waited an hour with rude baggage claim.

@Lsu31tigers @BackThebluecool Jamaica’s motto is Out of many one people. There are several races on the island. White Jamaicans, Chinese Jamaicans, Indian Jamaicans. She is not white. Also most Jamaicans would never associate ‘creole’ with our island.
