First lesson of 2026! I’ve been struggling to keep my arm long and loose so today we did a lot of drills to focus on that. Things we don’t talk about enough: As a female pitcher, at this age (13), we are growing a lot, with a lot of changes in our bodies down to the size of our hand. This affects pitching mechanics. It can feel overwhelming when you fix one thing, and another goes wrong. But you just have to keep working through it and staying positive. I want to encourage you not to give up and to keep working if you also feel this way sometimes. Practice makes PROGRESS, and the goal stays the same!

Fun day getting reps and learning from @emmadavis1010 from GSU& @marisakmiller_ from UGA. And from my pitching coach, @kgjuice20! They played for her when she coached travel. I’m thankful to have a coach with so many resources and the knowledge to help get me to the next level.
