When an abortion is medically necessary, neither the mother or the child would survive the pregnancy. Every single US state allows for medically necessary abortions.

Those who He foreknew. Who does God foreknow? Those who put faith in Christ. For what are we called? For God's purpose.

He speaks in parables so that only those who truly desire to follow Him can, leaving the choice in the ears of the hearer.

@Romeo1Oscar @USAIMREF @DrFrankTurek No dead man saves himself, that is Christ. Faith is a free choice, but Eph. 8 & 9 clearly states faith is not a work. God saved Abraham because of his faith. Where is the evidence that the "dead" have total inability to choose to follow Christ? John 3:16 says whoever believes.

To believe is an act that one must choose to do.

If your stance is only that we have a sinful nature, then I readily concede that point. You have not shown that that sinful nature results in total inability.

Faith is a choice we make, that does not mean work on our part saves us. I agree, it is totally the work of Christ. See Romans 4:3, Abraham believed and was credited as righteous.
