Cheboygan Dam Update 04/16/2026 at 10:20am
The Cheboygan Dam Area, and north of Cheboygan Dam is moving to the Level 2 “Set” stage of the Ready, Set, Go model. This indicates the water level is below 6” of topping the lowest point of the Cheboygan Dam Complex. Level 2 indicates a high probability of a need to evacuate. You should prepare now by packing necessary items and preparing your family, pets, and vehicle for potential departure. Remember the 6 P’s: plan, personal items, prescriptions, photographs, pets and papers.
Please refer to the attached map for the evacuation area, highlighted in yellow.
Hey NCAA, us more about players that don’t show “loyalty,” don’t want to go through “adversity” and how player movement impacts stability. Tell us more about “tampering” and “poaching.” The Coaches Portal is ALWAYS open. Funny how silent coaches and administrators are about that.
I will declare a state of emergency for Branch, Cass, and St. Joseph counties following the severe weather.
We’re working with emergency teams to monitor the situation and coordinate resources for those impacted. My heart is with the families who lost loved ones or were injured.
To our LGBTQ+ neighbors, family, and friends: I'll stand in the way of anyone who comes after you, fight for your freedom and safety, and veto any legislation that diminishes your humanity.
In Michigan, everyone deserves to be who they are and love who they love 🏳️🌈
In Michigan, we like receipts.
Homes built: 84,000
Housing gap: Down by 44%
Investment: Highest in state history
Homeownership: 75% (above the national average!)
Tonight, I'm delivering my final State of the State address.
I'll stand in the same chamber where we fixed the damn roads, lowered costs for families, protected fundamental freedoms, and proved that when you bet on Michigan, you get results. https://t.co/IGZNZBIYw4
