First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Motivates Nigerians as She Harvests Fresh Vegetables From State House Garden
Nigeriaโs First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has harvested another round of vegetables from the State House garden, reaffirming her call for Nigerians to embrace home gardening as a way to improve food security.
Displaying fresh produce, including spinach, waterleaf, and fluted pumpkin, she said maintaining a home garden is an affordable way to enjoy healthy meals while also contributing to environmental sustainability.
The First Lady added that home gardening can help address climate change and encouraged Nigerians to cultivate the habit of giving by sharing with others, as she distributed part of the harvest to members of her staff.
While social media spent days arguing over "akara and kulikuli," another story barely got attention: 45 Nigerian undergraduates( 300 level students and above) received โฆ50 million each in equity-free funding to build scalable innovations that solve real problems.
Beyond the grants, they also get mentorship, incubation support, and access to Google's AI tools through a Federal Government initiative.
It didn't trend. It didn't fit the preferred narrative.
Many people commenting on recent controversies never even watched the full video they were reacting to. Yet a life-changing opportunity for young Nigerians passed almost unnoticed.
The lesson is simple: a society cannot thrive if everyone is only interested in consuming outrage while ignoring solutions and opportunities.
Those 45 beneficiaries are Nigerians too. They are not being celebrated because they are politicians or influencers, but because they created value.
An environment from which you only want to take, without contributing solutions, owes you nothing.

"Femi Gbajabiamila was actually the whistleblower. He was the first person to actually write a petition to the DSS and the IGP of police to investigate someone who is impersonating him. Somebody who is going about with a forged document from his office..."
โ Tope Ajayi, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Information & Public Affairs
If not for President Tinubu's policies, many of these loud mouths making noise online about issues they know nothing about would, by now, be crying that Nigeria had become a slave to the IMF, the World Bank, or China. Thank God Tinubu came through and he came prepared.
Gbaja was the one who exposed the Prince Adeniyi scam.
Gbaja was the one who formally wrote to the police, requesting an investigation.
So how has the person who exposed the alleged fraud suddenly become the one expected to take the fall for it? That defies logic.
If Gbaja were truly involved in the scam, do you honestly believe he would sign documents that could be traced back to him and used as evidence?

Peter Obi: "I am going to make sure we have primary healthcare centres in all 8,000 wards across Nigeria"
Meanwhile it was Soludo's administration that commissioned the first-ever General Hospital in Onitsha South LGA, a state where Obi was an active governor for eight years. For eight good years Obi couldn't build a hospital in one of the major local govts in Anambra.
But he's promising a healthcare centre across the nation, and in four years too, because he said he wants just one tenure. What a joke.
Yes, the core facts check out. Peter Obi recently pledged functional primary healthcare centres in all ~8,000 wards nationwide as NDC candidate. Reports from multiple outlets confirm Soludo commissioned Anambraโs first public General Hospital in Onitsha South LGA (Fegge). Obi governed the state ~8 years (2006-2014) without building a state hospital there (mission/private ones existed). He did develop other health projects like the teaching hospital in Awka. The contrast on delivery is fair to note.
@Hhonor_ You can hate Tinubu all you want, but numbers don't lie. This same man you're insulting has demonstrated competence long before becoming President. Nigeria is better today than it was before, and no amount of noise from naysayers will change the facts.
@FridayIzuc99452@Hhonor_ If you ask this idiot now who could do it better than President Tinubu, the fool will probably recommend Obi. The same set of morons who can't even find solace in their own region are busy attacking a man with a proven track record.

@Hhonor_ For God's sake, these pictures were taken in Ghana just a few days ago. Even Ghanaian accounts posted them. Yet you're presenting them as if they were taken in Nigeria simply to score political points against a man who is trying to help the country get back on its feet.

If only we can support Bola Ahmed Tinubu....
Orthough God is our last hope but this present president is truly a God sent to this Nation do not allow anyone gaslight you, find out the truth yourself
