Gilgit Development Authority proudly presents its initiative to empower women of Gilgit Baltistan. Gemstone and Handicrafts market, envisaged by CS GB and executed by GDA, is aesthetically constructed with evironment friendly materials and leased out to Women Chamber of Commerce

This market is being run by female entrepreneurs and would provide ready access to quality products at affordable prices. Previously, local and international tourists had to wander around the city to find local products and often complained of being swindled.
