Please go and learn about F1 before coming and commenting on here. New car, new engineer, new team. Past his prime and thus why it takes longer to adjust. With that being said, he’s not far off Leclerc who has been here his whole life and has had the car tailored to him. If you know anything about Monaco or if you had watched today’s race you would have understood that there was terrible communication between Lewis and his engineer which affected his whole race. If you were actually watching and paying attention, you would have seen he got unlucky and lost a bunch of time being behind the back markers. His engineer didn’t navigate him through anything nor keep him updated on the gap to verstappen as verstappen needed to pit. He simply said Verstappen p1 with no explanation. To top it off, the 3 grid penalty was utter rubbish. He’s not the Lewis of old but he’s far from done and if you can’t see that I’m sorry you need to focus on another sport. Stop spreading hate.
