A 28-year-old Muslim man was chased and shot dead in Nuh, Haryana by Bajrang Dal extremists. He was the only earning son of his family, the father of a two-year-old daughter, with another child yet to be born. On his shoulders rested the responsibility of his ageing parents and five sisters.
Today, his family is left with unbearable grief, uncertainty, and a future filled with fear.
Yet there have been no arrests. No loud outrage. No primetime debates. No bulldozers. Just silence.
It feels as if Muslim lives have become so cheap in this country that their blood does not even deserve justice.
