Something that I learned that I can do myself to help the orangutans is to buy products with the stickers FSC, which stands for Forest Stewardship Council which ensures the products are meant to help conserve ecosystems! #39canimals

OC partnered with the Borneo Nature Foundation in order to build a boardwalk into the forest in order to research more to ensure their survival. Also, they create a way to prevent fires, illegal hunting, and illegal logging activities #39canimals

One of the biggest solutions to fixing the issue of orangutans is to rehabilitate and reintroduce displaced orangutans into the wild. There are just so many left in the wild sp we protect however many we can. #39canimals

The effects of logging are harming orangutans. What’s even worse is that this study helps show that minor logging doesn’t impact them but aggressive and relentless logging affects their resources and habitats.#39canimals

Orangutan Outreach is one of those organizations that just care a little more. They host events such as MOM, Missing Orangutan Mothers to spread advocacy and encourage people to help

I think its pretty cool to see the outreach of Orangutan Outreach with other organizations and campaigns, such as OVAID, a veterinary charity seeking to improve the welfare of orangutans. #39canimals
