@goodbyefriend@OraangeQuee I don't care that the actors are straight though, of course it is great if they are actually part of the community like Yada and Pundao. My original post was about straight people who watch because I saw people commenting on the need for sex scenes and saying it is unnecessary.
@goodbyefriend@OraangeQuee My question is why do you need to prove it? If someone comes up to me and says they are gay then they are gay, who am I to judge. How many actresses have you seen come out and then it is a lie? I think people live on the extreme which affects the whole community.
@goodbyefriend@OraangeQuee Agree with this. Most GL's are adapted from books but as soon as the companies get their hands on them they take out/overlook alot of the nuances, because the writers aren't part of the community.
@goodbyefriend@OraangeQuee I agree with some of what you said. But for example MotionMinds state that they hire with special consideration given to actresses who are part of the community. They clearly state this to create a safe space for them to audition and feel safe enough to express themselves.
