I don’t want my daughter to be like me. I want her to speak up sooner. Walk away faster. Trust herself deeper. Apologize less. Take up more space. Ask bigger questions. Dream louder. And if that means she becomes everything I wasnt… GOOD!
La historia de estos dos rusos trepando el Empire State para soltar una bandera que prácticamente dice que el amor es lo más importante y después uno de los dos hace una propuesta de casamiento, me vuelve loca. Ni en la mejor comedia romántica❤️🔥
The woman I’m dating stayed over one night.
The next morning, she got out of bed, stepped onto my bedroom floor, and let out this little yelp.
“Ow… your floor is freezing cold.”
Then she laughed and tiptoed all the way to the bathroom to brush her teeth.
I just stood there watching her.
I didn’t say anything.
But I remembered it.
The following week, I bought a soft little rug and placed it on her side of the bed.
Right where she always gets up.
A few days later, she stayed over again.
I fell asleep on the couch accidentally last night and woke up at like 2AM confused because I was suddenly under a blanket.
This man had quietly turned off the TV, plugged my phone in, put water on the table beside me, and covered me up without waking me.
And when I got up to go to bed, I realized he had already locked the doors, cleaned the kitchen, and packed my lunch for work because he knew I had an early morning.
He never mentioned any of it.
That’s the thing I keep noticing about genuinely caring people.
They don’t always love you loudly. Sometimes they love you in tiny invisible ways that make your life softer when you aren’t paying attention.
