One of my favorite days of the school year...the day we have our book tasting! Our room is transformed to "Hayes Cafe," and the Ss get a "taste" of our new novel. And it wouldn't be a cafe without a snack and some music, right?! So much fun! @TCSPublic @PanthersEMS

Practicing writing dialogue with our characters, Barky VonPointer and Ziggy Star-Ruff. The Ss paired up with a partner and took turns writing dialogue for each character. I always love hearing what conversations they create! Bonus, the Ss love it! @PanthersEMS @TCSPublic

Building relationships within the classroom through GIF Giggling. I displayed a GIF and a question. The Ss had to act out the GIF while having a conversation with their partner. Then, one line shifted so they changed partners. They had so much fun! @TCSPublic @PanthersEMS #TYHO

Accomplishing a little day by day. The "Believe in your selfie" bulletin board is always one of my personal faves! I take pictures of my kids holding a handmade sign that says "#iam___", and they must fill in that blank with a positive adjective they believe about themselves. ❤
