@SDembraski My drives with the new 14.3.3 have also been smooth. Instead of break stabbing for a squirrel, it smoothly pumped the breaks and didn’t over react like it previously would do!
@JSX423 I’m honestly not motivated by the “streak” feature. I still disengage when it’s making bad navigation and parking decisions. And when it’s too slow to make a decision with plenty of room to make a left turn.
Yea, it makes me a little less relaxed on country roads at the thought of “is my car going to abruptly stop?” It’s also way too sensitive to small animals…squirrels and chipmunks don’t need Tesla’s to run down the breaks to abruptly stop for them…they can usually quickly avoid cars..same with birds.
I should add that any improvements from here are non-safety critical, just preference and fine tuning to make it smoother and faster! I will never buy another car without FSD. It is handling 99% of my drives…
Wow, my car on FSD 14.3.3 just avoided a very unsafe driver on the expressway. The crazy driver was swerving across lanes unsafely and my Tesla with eyes in the back of its head smoothly and safely avoided getting clipped in the back corner.
Tesla has 100% solved these challenging edge cases on this build. Now we need them to focus on the “easy” stuff: parking and no break jabbing for birds flying by. Also, I wish it was a little faster at turning left and quicker at stop signs with no cars.
@wholemars Parking improvements/parking spot selection option, garage parking option and drive thru option. These improvements would eliminate about all of my disengagements.
Tesla FSD is truly magic 🪄. My Model Y drove me from N suburbs to downtown Chicago while I just looked forward out the windshield. I used to dread city driving. That was the most relaxed drive ever—true game changer! $TSLA @Tesla_AI@Tesla can’t wait for the day I can put it to work in the @robotaxi network instead of paying to valet!
@wholemars Great! 14.3.2 gave me whip lash this morning bc it suddenly stopped for a squirrel crossing the street 🤪 hopefully I get 14.3.3 soon and it fixes the phantom braking for small animals.
On my 15 min drive to the store, I saw 5 Tesla cars driving in self-driving mode. (Model Ys and a Cybertruck) in the Chicago suburbs. The FSD revolution is here and the crazy part is most people still have no idea!
🚨 BREAKING:
The average American is driving 350,000 miles by age 40... and 650,000 in a lifetime!
TESLA FSD (Supervised) has OVER 10 BILLION MILES driven and it's just getting started!!! Next up, Cybercabs in a city near you!
