@TAFEdefender Agree that it is time for a serious rebuild of the TAFE capabilities in NSW and fostering comprehensive accessible adult education and training. The Labor market is crying out for skilled workers and society needs educated adaptable communities given the Eco imperatives of today.
Principles for designing work so people love their jobs & want to stay in them: 1) Recruit humans, not workers 2) Commit to lifelong learning 3) Respect each person’s uniqueness 4) Avoid standardised tools 5) Build trust 6) Focus on teams: https://t.co/nF0bH9cjZy V @mwbuckingham
@TAFEComAll A big wake up call as people's lives and out societies capabilities need a re boost with injections of TAFE services across industry and socio economic levels
@JasonClareMP Great speech... we need to understand that there is freedom of and freedom from in terms of what people say on many matters especially responsible politicians.
.@GladysB .@johnbarilaromp Govt must end failed marketisation of TAFE. restore guaranteed funding TAFE NSW to focus on providing all communities with high quality vocational & further education. @TAFEeducation @TAFEdefender https://t.co/ZwqeSJ3lju
@AVETRA1 This was an excellent sessions as it revealed the similarity of the UK Colleges and the TAFE Colleges demise and the great need to reinvestment and need to value the broad range of skills for both economies especially highlighted by COVID lock downs and national isolations.
Listening to @AlboMP#budgetreply and proud of the attention to education at every level, from early ed through to post school. Really happy to hear commitment to TAFE, skills development and expectation of apprentices, trainees and cadets in Gov funded projects.
@TAFECampaign TAFE is more important than ever. Revitalise equity, further education, and technical skills in these viral and demanding times. Practical, applied and professional TAFE for the benefit of all.
@mashagessen@NewYorker It is mendacious and ironic that the title of the agency is called Homeland Security when its operations peddle secrecy and fear. However, I happily accept confidentiality is required to a degree in some cases. Here is hoping for responsible, accountable representative governance
When I was young in the 70s I thought we were on our way to a better, fairer, more democratic & diverse world. If you had told me that in my 60s I would watch the media crumbling, dissent demonised, science scorned and facts ignored, I would have laughed at you. How niave I was.
Everyone deserves access to affordable, quality education - and that shouldn’t depend on your bank balance. Tell Education Minister Dan Tehan - we need education for all, stop fee hikes! Same for TAFE #educationforall#stopfeehikes#auspol https://t.co/Cwofoq50En v @MegaphoneAU
