Suggestions: 1) Open additional counters during peak hours; 2) Stop issuing entry after a reasonable time if all pending customers cannot be attended by 4 Pm & 3) Upgrade outdated systems “system slow” cannot be an excuse in 2026. Kindly take necessary action. @IndiaPostOffice

Very disappointing experience at the Margao Head Post Office today. After waiting in queue from around 3:20 PM to post 3 notices, we were informed at 4 PM that no more letters would be accepted as the counter was closing. Only one counter was functioning. @IndiaPostOffice

The counter was taking 15–20 mins per customer, causing long delays. Despite a complaint book being displayed on the notice board, the postmaster did not provide it when requested. Even the listed CPIO contact numbers were not functional. This is unacceptable public service.
