Earlier today, we were at the High Court to stand in solidarity with our comrade Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro as he fights to defend the stolen electoral victory of the people of Nakawa East. The level of injustice occasioned on this brother is unfathomable- detained for no crime whatsoever, his electoral victory grabbed, prevented from being by his wife's bedside in sickness, and by her graveside in death! The brutal weight of bad governance rests heavily on his shoulder, and yet in all this, he continues to stand tall for justice and fairness. We can only pray for a fair judgment in his election petition so that he can finally step into his role and lead his people with the brilliance we all know he possesses.
