@MBS_th38 Do you even understand the statement released by the FC? Can you even read it properly? What are you even trying to blur the lines with and talking about? Well, even a big company like GMM copies other cultures without giving proper credit, I guess nothing is surprising anymore.

@MBS_th38 You only see people boycotting an actor, but don't you see them asking GMM to give proper credit for copying our traditional costume? Please tell GMM as well to learn to respect other people's culture and traditional heritage, and to give credit whenever they copy from it.
@GMMTV I saw GMM's announcement yesterday, it made me think about something. Just having a degree doesn’t mean you’re truly educated. You also need the wisdom to know what is right and what is wrong. There are many talented people in the world, but one must strive to be a good person.

The Rakhine oil-lamp dance is a sacred dance performed by our people as an offering to the Buddha, whom we deeply worship and revere. Using this dance and performing it in front of men feels deeply disrespectful to our religious beliefs. Please put yourselves in our shoes. Would you accept it if someone disrespected your own religion and beliefs? Every community has its own faith and sacred traditions, and disrespecting them is unacceptable. Please respect our religion, our culture, and our traditions. 🇲🇲

We acknowledge GMMTV's statement as a first step. However, our concerns remain, and our requests for proper cultural explanations, acknowledgement, and on-screen credits have yet to be fully addressed.

Is it appropriate for a company working with global brands to fail to give credit for historical clothing and dances, and only issue a statement?
If global brands come to know about GMM’s lack of responsibility, would it be easy for them to continue working with them?
So basically, Scarlet Heart Thailand used Myanmar’s art and culture without publicly announcing it before production.
Hope GMMTV learns from this. If it were another country, things might not end this easily. Myanmar is only asking for credit.
A fantasy kingdom doesn’t mean you can just mix different cultures however you want and use another country’s art and culture without publicly acknowledging or crediting them.
If GMMTV keeps doing this, whether it’s Myanmar or any other country, they should be prepared for the possibility of having to cancel the series before it even airs.
P’Force kub I heard that you love Myanmar fans. So what do you think about what’s happening with Myanmar’s culture and heritage in Scarlet Heart? Since you love us, I’m sure you’d care about our concerns too, right? 🥺 Please speak up or post something about it na kub
