Women in Afghanistan wore their burkas like this after Kabul was liberated from Taliban rule. Now their plight is worse than what we are hearing about in Iran. Women always have the most to lose. Men will not fight for them because they don’t have nearly as much to lose & most enjoy having that much control over them. They are like personal servants who have zero rights. Their role is to please men or suffer the consequences. Not to mention they believe it is commanded for it to be this way.
