In the aftermath of the latest attacks in the Middle East, it's paramount to understand the dynamics at play. This isn't a simple clash of two free and equal societies going to war with each other. Israel have been usurpers and occupiers, and the Palestinians have been the displaced striving and fighting for their homeland. This should always be remembered for context. As tensions surge to a boiling point, the region is teetering on the edge once again. It’s a very delicate and passion fuelled conflict, but the urgency for both sides to exercise restraint has never been more profound. Unlike what we’ve seen happening for years to the Palestinians, women,children, civilians and places of worship should not be casualties of war. Nothing is worth it. Praying for peace in the region.
