Police have been searching River Hill High School since receiving a phone call threat of a student with a gun and bomb just before 2 p.m. There is no evidence of actual danger at this time. Detectives are investigating source of the call. Some students now leaving the school.

Very happy to say that I've been awarded an NSF Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant jointly with Paul Cheung, on our work currently entitled "Non-isolation and Social Preference".
It is my (our) first ever research grant! 😄

However, the known benefits of the vaccine outweigh the potential risks. That's what emergency-use auth means.
The heating has officially been turned off in the Economics Building on campus. Since I forgot my space heater at home today, I will now run a copious amount of code for the day to make sure my computer can at least keep me warm.
