They surgically removed the parasite of my brain that would compel me to engage in online discourse and I was left only with love and empathy for my fellow man
@reallifepeaches “artists should be able to dabble” yeah thats the point? non-black artists make music for 6 weeks, waltz in and snag million dollar label deals and public support. while black artists work for years and get nothing. they gatekeep from us, but we cant gatekeep our own shit? right
General Secretary Booker Omole remains in prison. This account is now under the National Secretariat of the Communist Party Marxist Kenya to issue updates and rally solidarity. They jail one. We rise millions. Free Booker. Forward the struggle.
Lot of people learning about Afropessimism, don’t get it twisted this is not a course in defeatism. It’s “learn who your enemies are and why they picked that side.” It’s okay if you were sheltered or insulated from global antiblackness, but now that you know let’s prepare for war
Liberalism is historically synonymous with capitalism, which is why it is identified as a right-wing ideology throughout the world. One exception is the US, where it has been falsely sold as left wing so the ruling class can pretend that no ideologies exist outside of capitalism.
The whole debate over whether or not Marxism is Eurocentric really comes down to which aspect of Marxism is being discussed. Dialectical materialism itself isn't Eurocentric because it can be applied universally. What is Eurocentric about Marxism were certain conclusions which Marx and Engels arrived at based on the fact that they were basing their theories primarily from their study of Western Europe's history.
Frantz Fanon wrote about the need to stretch Marxism to deal with the colonial problem. Walter Rodney, Amilcar Cabral, Kwame Nkrumah, and Thomas Sankara all made similar arguments concerning applying Marx's analysis to the African struggle. This is why Pan-Africanists who embraced Marxism often developed views on issues such as race, nationalism, religion and the role of the lumpen in the struggle which were not fully aligned with what was being promoted by white Marxist-Leninist groups.
