Dear national and international media,
This is not Gaza or Lebanon. This is the current situation of Manipur now at 9:30 PM IST (19th April 2026). MANIPUR BETRAYED BUT NOT BEATEN. Our PM has been silent since 2023. We want justice for Manipur. 😢💔🙏

#WATCH | Imphal, Manipur: 7 days total shutdown imposed by Meira Paibi Lup (Women Torch Bearers) across Manipur, demanding the government to arrest the perpetrators of the Tronglaobi bomb attack by April 25.
Almost all the roads, markets, shops establishment remained closed. Commercial vehicles stop plying on the road, except for a few private vehicles.
Protesters and police clashed in the streets of India’s Manipur on Saturday night amid a growing wave of demonstrations in the state after a reported bombing that killed two children earlier in April.
We live in a country where the two most dynamic, charismatic, eloquent politicians of this century have the first names Barack and Zohran. This is what bothers the white supremacists so much.
Dear National & International media,
This is Manipur right now at 10 PM IST (Friday, 17th April today). Is Manipur even a part of India? Why are you silent on Manipur? Wake up! No Justice, No Rest.
#HappeningNow
This is how the last night was in #Manipur
When #India was sleeping, an Indian state was suffering like this
And the PM, HM of that same India are busy touring every poll bound Indian state but Manipur
So BJP wants to win every state but can’t fix one they already have and it’s been 3 years now.
#AmitShah said he will spend 15 days in #Bengal for #BengalElection2026
Manipur is not even 1 hr flight.
Every #BJP top leader is campaigning in Bengal. Had all of them gone to Manipur once to convince people for peace - just once!
Images from a plane carrying Iran’s delegation to US-Iran talks in Islamabad show seats filled with photos and belongings of victims of the Minab school strike.
The aircraft, “Minab 168,” honours the 168 killed, mostly children.
We, faujis, have moved all over and, on retirement, decided on one place to settle down.

The State of Manipur mourns the heartbreaking loss of two of its bright and promising daughters — Nganthoi Sharma Kongbrailatpam and Lamnunthem Singson, who tragically lost their lives in a recent incident that has shaken us all.
Today, the mortal remains of Nganthoi Sharma Kongbrailatpam were received with utmost respect and sorrow at the Imphal International Airport. The atmosphere was heavy with grief as family, friends and officials gathered to pay their last respects.
The people of Manipur stand in solidarity with the bereaved families during this profoundly difficult time. We extend our heartfelt condolences and pray that the departed souls find eternal peace.
PRESS NOTE
Imphal, 16ᵗʰ June 2025
Tragic Loss of Two Brave Manipuri Daughters in Ahmedabad Plane Crash – preparations regarding receiving their mortal remains.
It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that the Government and people of Manipur mourn the untimely and tragic demise of two of our daughters, crew members of the ill-fated Air India flight that crashed at Ahmedabad on 12ᵗʰ June, 2025. Both young women viz. Kongbrailatpam Nganthoi Sharma (22) and Lamnunthem Singson (28), hailing from the State of Manipur, had dedicated themselves in service to the skies and were symbols of aspiration, courage and grace.
Their sudden passing has not only plunged their families and loved ones into grief but has also sent a wave of mourning across the entire state. The Government of Manipur stands in deep solidarity with the bereaved families in this hour of immeasurable pain and loss.
The State Government has conveyed to both Tata Group and Air India that it is fully prepared to receive the mortal remains of the two brave crew members at Imphal. Necessary arrangements have been made to ensure that their remains are treated with the highest dignity and respect, and subsequently transported safely to their respective homes.
However, the final decision regarding the mode of reception, ceremonies and other arrangements is respectfully left to the bereaved families. The State is committed to providing all necessary support as per their wishes.
This is not just the loss of two lives — it is the silencing of dreams, the departure of daughters who brought pride to Manipur, and the extinguishing of two bright lights that once soared amongst the clouds. Their service and spirit will be remembered with honour and reverence.
May their souls rest in eternal peace.
Shweta Singh of India Today has done a segment about how a copy of Bhagwad Gita survived the crash in Ahmedabad. Should this be interpreted as god chose to save a book and let 240+ people die including many little children?
Today we lost more than lives.
We lost dreams, families, futures and a piece of our collective soul.
As a pilot, this tragedy in Ahmedabad is not just news it’s personal.
Every passenger, every crew member they are never just names on a manifest. They are the reason we fly with care, with duty and with love. And it is why we study so hard and give exams every 6 months.
My heart breaks for those who were aboard that Air India flight, for their families and for the colleagues in uniform who now won’t return home. There are no words strong enough to carry the grief that hangs in the air today.
But what makes this even harder is the noise. The rush to speculate. The self appointed “experts” with theories but no facts.
Aviation is a world of precision, training and systems. When things go wrong, we don’t need assumptions we need patience, facts and respect for the gravity of the loss.
To my fellow aviators, I know you feel this too. The knot in your stomach, the silence while doing the checklists, the moment you glance at the sky and it doesn’t look the same.
To the public,I ask for compassion. For silence sometimes. For empathy always.
Let us mourn, let the investigators work and let the skies remain sacred.
Fly high, those we lost. You are not forgotten. 🙏🏻

The recent string of violent clashes and continuing bloodshed in Manipur is deeply disturbing.
After more than a year of division and suffering, it was the hope of every Indian that the Central and State governments would have made every effort at reconciliation and found a solution.
I urge the PM once again to visit Manipur and work towards restoring peace and healing in the region.
🌟 On this special day honoring #GandhiJi, #ShastriJi, we appeal to our Honourable PM @narendramodi to end the suffering of 30,000+ Supertech homebuyers. For 14 years, we’ve faced broken promises and empty dreams.
