A Kenyan lady has gained widespread attention for bravely protesting against alleged police misconduct while defending her boyfriend.

Her boyfriend was handcuffed after police suspected him of possessing cannabis. According to the lady, officers arrested him based only on suspicion.

She also alleged that police officers beat her while she was peacefully protesting.

Yesterday, yet another unidentified child's body was discovered in the Kiama River.This brings the total to four unidentified children's bodies found dead in the county in recent times:One child was murdered and the body dumped halfway into a pit latrine at an abandoned church.
On 11th May 2026, the bodies of two children (a boy and a girl) were recovered from the Kiama River.
A fourth unidentified child's body was found yesterday in the same Kiama River.

These incidents have raised serious concern among residents.

Three Kenyans have been killed in three different Police Stations in the past one week.

Benard Omae, frame one was arrested by RDU in Utawala, tortured and booked at Kibra Police Station where he was found dead.

Peter Kiiru, in frame two has been found dead at the Kariobangi Police Station.

Frame three is Brian Njunge. Brian was found dead at the Kiambu Police Station and the autopsy report reveals that Brian was strangled to death.

This is unacceptable and it's time we stand on our feet and call out police brutality.

For how long are we going to sit and watch as police cells are turned into death cages?
