βThough you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more.β
Psalms 71:20-21 NIV
Been pulled into Charlie Kirkβs words latelyβ¦ I canβt shake the sadness and wish I had appreciated him more while he was here. He had a rare gift for speaking truth with clarity. Sharp, grounded and full of conviction. A voice we will never get back. God gained another soldier.
βSurely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.β
Psalms 51:5-6 NIV
We can go to church, praise God, worship Him and pour our hearts out, but if we're planning to sin in the same way again, then grace isn't truly taking root.
