A new low for Farage, encouraging and supporting Ryan Bridge from Raise the Colours at the Reform Conference in Brum. Bridge is answering bail in Oxfordshire tomorrow and will be charged with 14 offences of harassment, including racially motivated harassment. As a veteran I am horrified that Reform would seek to give immunity against crimes that would never be acceptable, such as rape, torture or the execution of prisoners-of-war.

The British Army is the finest professional fighting force in the world and it operates within the law of armed conflict.

We must always support our personnel and veterans against malicious prosecutions, but to give immunity from prosecution for crimes like rape and torture is unthinkable.
