@omarhkhalid@MehlaqaCAPJ If military had intervened at that time to put IK, I would have been the first to oppose it. But it didn’t. He literally worked his butt off to gather support from every single constituency. Granted, he was allowed to do it. People did vote for him.
@omarhkhalid@MehlaqaCAPJ If it was true, why didn’t a single opposition leader take his offer of recounting. Unlike the 4 constituencies in 2014. They just focused on media propaganda and brainwashing without any proof.
@omarhkhalid@MehlaqaCAPJ I used to be naive as well. It will take time and exposure. One day hopefully you will develop the ability to analyse objectively.
@sccizer@HNadim87 I am an avid reader of John M. and agree with most of his analysis.
If you think Pakistan nuclear program is not under the control of US, you are delusional. They want a puppet state in the region to control or disrupt emerging powers, USSR in the past and China & India now.
@omarhkhalid@MehlaqaCAPJ Charter of democracy was a sham between two family dynasties to take turns to rule. It was broken by NS when he colluded with CJ to weaken PPP govt in 2011. Unfortunately for him, that support base went on to support PTI rather than PMLN.
@omarhkhalid@MehlaqaCAPJ ISI can bring someone to power immediately like Bhutto or NS. They don’t need 20 years, like IK had to struggle.
Still ISI can’t gather or disintegrate public support. Every politician does it on his own. How come ISI hasn’t been able to erase IK popularity yet?
@omarhkhalid@MehlaqaCAPJ 2018 elections were rigged against IK not in his favour. Army didn’t want NS but also didn’t want a simple majority with IK. Go and read results before RTS was shutdown on the night and final results. PTI was on its way to simple majority but was denied, so could be controlled.
@omarhkhalid@MehlaqaCAPJ Glad you at least acknowledged that ISI was created in 1948 by reminiscent of British colonial army. 20 years before India had to create RAW as a response. ISI has been interfering with internal politics ever since. There is stronger evidence of them bringing Bhutto & NS than IK
@sccizer@HNadim87 No, a sane US president will try to create a more sustainable alliances in changing multi-polar world. Most of Trumps actions are actually going to harm US in the long run. Including supporting Pak military.
@NawalAzhar@HNadim87 His support for Pakistan or IK was not needed. Only if he had stayed true to non-interventionist policy (public position), would have been enough.
@awanfirst@MehlaqaCAPJ Only two nation states were artificially created in the last century (who never existed before), both have created havoc. You can just decide and create a new nation state, they emerge from centuries of cultural bonding and evolution.
@omarhkhalid@MehlaqaCAPJ They are just continuation of colonial rule. Read the history when and why ISI was created and by whom. They have been under British and then American influence from the start. Nothing good can come out of it, except for a chosen few.
@omarhkhalid@MehlaqaCAPJ Military rule is not even a system. Name one country that has prospered through it?
They didn’t let democracy prosper as they killed Jinnah and then her sister along with all the hard core politicians who struggled for independence.
Military had no part in making Pakistan.
