@GHedgieTheXIV I like the scheme. maybe it's because i'm a bit colorblind myself, but the slight red-purple sheen on some of the armor makes it look rather nice!
@CommanderFemboi there's two tricks to painting. first one is to not hold yourself to anyone else's standard- it doesn't have to win golden daemon, just has to look good from tabletop range. second is to find a scheme and painting style you like- everyone has a different process.
@Darth_DeVito@CommanderFemboi ...no? I'm referring to where the emphasis is now, and used to be, in space wolf lore. I miss the "scary space barbarians who are actually pretty reasonable, but have a dark secret" version of space wolves from 3rd-4th edition, and feel wulfen being a normal unit is dumb.
@DecebalStalin he's gonna figure it out eventually, same as all of us. I wish he didn't have to, but this is where we're at- this site is not a place for civil discussion generally.
@AndrewZ24597481 damn straight he is. literally the model that got me into 40k- wee little kid me wandered into the game shop with his binder of pokemon cards, saw that on the wall, and the rest is history.
@thespyfromtf21@Torykbirdthrowa@MrsKonradCurze I mean, any of them really. but the escher, orlock, and cawdor gangs are more or less plug and play- swap a few heads and do a little conversion work and voila. goliaths are pretty easy to convert with a bit of trimming too.
@thespyfromtf21@Torykbirdthrowa@MrsKonradCurze eh, it's a minor enough thing. some of the girls had to wear chunky armor that doesn't quite fit- seems like the sort of thing that'd happen to a scrappy bunch of broke rebels.
somewhat unrelated, but necromunda gangs make GREAT neophytes (or acolytes/metamorphs for goliaths)
@thespyfromtf21@Torykbirdthrowa@MrsKonradCurze the heads are completely interchangable, at least. and how do YOU know those acolytes aren't girls? are you gonna go check? (just being silly on that last bit lol)
@gwentandbolters@MrsKonradCurze as I've said to others, there are only two kinds of people who support femstodes. "step on me muscle mommy" turbogooners, and political idealogues pushing an agenda. granted, the Venn diagram there is almost completely a single circle, but still.
