The issue being discussed is why women are increasingly expected to do both paid and unpaid labour, while men's domestic contribution is still treated as optional.

@ak059 @dream_explorer7 @SayantikaSays The issue isn't that women 'choose' careers. The issue is that women are expected to keep all traditional responsibilities while also working. Men entering household responsibilities to the same extent hasn't been normalized.

@Arindam8999 "What is" and "what should be" are different things. Even if evolutionary pressures differed historically, that doesn't make sexist double standards reasonable in modern society. Describing an instinct isn't the same as justifying discrimination based on it.
