Today, we celebrate the rich cultures, languages, and traditions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis across Canada.

@KanwarSierah Interesting transformation from immigration consultant to political analyst.
And now campaigning to remove Mr. Carney? Are you acting independently, or following directions from your beloved motherland country? So are you flooding people from your country to remove @MarkJCarney
The Montréal Victoire – a team that truly lived up to its name.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Carney welcomed the 2026 Walter Cup champions to Ottawa to congratulate them on securing their historic title.
@StevePaolasini@MarkJCarney Economic immigration what they promised and their actions are contradicting.
Proceeds to make it harder for skilled immigrants with Canadian education, high earning potential and work experience to stay.
But, of course there had to be a French draw on the heels of a petty and insignificant #CEC draw.
100 cuts and then twisting the knife 🤷
Just to clarify, I don't have anything against the #French draws, But I do have gripe as to how poorly they manage and balance other categories and #CEC draws.
Welcome to Ottawa, President @alexstubb.
Canada and Finland are strong partners, and we are deepening our cooperation to protect our Arctic, defend our sovereignty, and build stronger economies for all in both of our nations.
@Shahzebkhan2089@MannyLidher@nkeung For you every doctor is working in the subway, master’s grad is at Tim’s, & every PhD is out here mowing your backyard lawn 🙄For God’s sake, get a life. People just messed up their own situation & now vent their frustration all over social media like it’s a full-time job
@Shahzebkhan2089@MannyLidher@nkeung Does your parent working in Tim Horton after finishing their masters, research and phd in the top Canadian university? If yes then it’s concerning!
@Shahzebkhan2089@MannyLidher@nkeung That’s called a stereotype I guess you’re intellectual enough to know what that means, right?
Nowadays it’s trendy to blame the system for literally everything. Your 10-15 siblings doing this kind of stuff doesn’t mean everyone is in the same boat
@AskKubeir On top of that, losing CRS points due to the age factor over 2–4 years can make a huge difference. Clarifying this rule is a fair step. IRCC should also release clear and detailed guidelines so everyone understands the policy moving forward @CitImmCanada@LenaMetlegeDiab
@AskKubeir Remember?full-time work & full-time study were allowed together? Some applicants were able to gain points for both during the same 2 year period, putting them far ahead of many legitimate candidates who would normally need 4 years to earn those points separately @CitImmCanada
@AskKubeir That’s a fair decision. This should have been addressed by IRCC much earlier. Allowing applicants to claim CRS points for education, Canadian work experience, or foreign work experience for the same time period was never fair & it’s one reason CRS cutoffs have remained so high
