In the divine journey of appointing the Spiritual Successor of Dera Sacha Sauda, Param Pita Ji organised several sacred gatherings to invite suggestions from the devotees.

During one such spiritual congregation, a devotee humbly submitted: “O Beloved Master, Every devotee stands clueless- How can one recognize the Satguru? Only you possess the divine vision. Kindly disclose this holy mystery.”

With immense grace, Param Pita Ji reassured his devotees: “My child, When the time comes, we shall reveal ourselves. Still, to bring peace to your hearts, we are holding these spiritual assemblies.”
After one such impactful gathering, Param pita ji called a sevadar and stated “We have chosen the blessed soul from Shri Gurusar Modia—Kaka (Hazoor Pita Ji).”
Thus, on Saturday, 22nd September 1990, Hazoor Pita Ji arrived at Dera Sacha Sauda as per Param Pita Ji's instructions.

When did His Holiness Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj begin bestowing the Guru Mantra?

By the divine grace of Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, His Holiness Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj began imparting sacred spiritual satsang at Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa.

Responding to the earnest requests of devoted followers, His Holiness graciously extended His divine presence to Dera in various locations, villages, and towns, enlightening countless souls through His spiritual teachings.

The first satsang delivered by His Holiness took place on June 10, 1962, in the village of Jhumba, Punjab. On April 18, 1963, during the grand celebration of the third Bhandara of Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj at Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa, His Holiness Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj commenced bestowing the divine gift of Naam-Daan (Guru Mantra) for the salvation of souls from the mortal realm.
