The Government of Uganda has officially committed USD 1 million in support of the Rwenzori Marathon, aimed at strengthening event organization and rewarding outstanding winners.

This significant milestone was announced by the Minister of State for Education and Sports, Peter @OgwangOgwang underscoring government commitment to sports development, tourism promotion, and global positioning of Uganda as a premier events destination.

This investment not only elevates the stature of the Rwenzori Marathon but also reinforces Uganda’s growing influence on the international sports and tourism stage.
