I think if someone is going to adapt The Odyssey they should get more creative with the setting and medium. Like for example maybe have it be a novel that takes place in Dublin on June 16, 1904
I don’t think that’s what the movie is saying tbh. I think it’s less about guilt over sacking Troy and more about guilt over the way he did it. His whole thing is wanting a fair, honourable fight (e.g. plucking the bow before hunting). Trickery goes against that ethos.
It’s actually so lovely how we have wildfire smoke every summer. This never happened when we were kids or when our parents were kids but it’s just like normal now 😍😍😍
