@noplaceforsheep Unfortunately too many jurors think they are in an American court drama where the rogue juror solves the case. Every jury is instructed by the judge before any evidence that they are the triers of the evidence presented IN court. They are NOT investigators.

@noplaceforsheep I can tell you that when you see an open magazine with pictures on the jury table of a similar gun in evidence during a murder trial your heart just hits the floor as you know that the smuggled article will abort the trial. Rogue juror.

@noplaceforsheep @Deedumdeelee Cleaners are not allowed in the jury room until the conclusion of the trial. Sheriff’s officers tidy up and clear away the detritus of the day. After supervising over 200 juries over more than 20 years I can assure you that I had no interest in their folders. Other work to do.
