@thegradmedic This is why I picked PA, I’d already started my family and wanted to stay local to my area- just couldn’t justify not earning a salary for another four years after undergrad.
350 doctors training in anaesthesia have been told that there is no job for them after 3 years of training.
That’s despite the current shortage of anaesthetists.
This is shambolic, senseless and cruel, and needs to be addressed imminently.

No one bats an eyelid paying £100+ for an on call plumber/electrician etc. but woe betide if the doctor who is working out of hours to look after you/your relative is asking for more then £14-£15.
Why is it controversial that a professional, who has studied for >5 years of university and picked up skills that most other people cannot do, should earn more than someone who does a job that doesn't require as much training or expertise?
The Taliban have CANCELLED previous divorces in Afghanistan, and BAN women from divorcing.
