This week, The Strategy Shop met with Dr. Avis Jackson, program manager of the Center for Predictive Analytics via zoom. CPA is a research center with a purpose to provide graduate students with advanced real-world research opportunities.

Last week, The Strategy Shop made their way to Weber Shandwick in Washington, D.C. This public relations firm functions globally through different brands including government, media, and business. Students were shown a presentation and tour of the firm.

With the help of The Strategy Shop, The Center of Urban Health Equity will begin to gain recognition on and off campus. Students and community members will start to understand the purpose and ideas CUHE has and the changes they want to make in the community.

This evening students from @MSUStrategyShop were able to meet with the School of Community Health and Policy faculty and staff to discuss the Center for Urban Health Equity. The center will help research and define health disparities within communities in Baltimore. #SCOMUP

This week I was able to listen to @PRSA Diversity Membership Program Zoom meeting with public relations professional, John Mitchell. In this meeting, I was able to learn about the significance of effective listening and its key points.

From this meeting, I was able to understand the patience and precision needed for an event like the Super Bowl. In any event, it is best to make sure everything is handled correctly and stays on track, so it can please brands involved and the audience. #SCOMUP
