Like, like what ya like for sure but…..idk man, just admit you want a universe cus ur not over it cus…..objectively……they’re not talking about anything that the og didn’t. Like Snows prequel literally felt like a dumbing down of the og to me😅😭

[Kia @kiarpennington]

I’ve really been tryna not to yuck anyone’s yum with THG becoming a universe, but this is the exact reason why I hate and don’t usually interact with the add ons. The og trilogy with the movies did an amazing job at talking about nature vs nurture, are we born or made this way…

[laura @ninarivagf]

"sotr talks about propaganda" ok and those three books do too

[Kia @kiarpennington]

Did an amazing job with Snow. So if you feel more is more to be added about him or any established character or themes then……that’s you saying the og doesn’t stand on its own…..

Ya know…..I don’t think the problem is ETL……I think it’s the misunderstanding of ETL and even dark romance. To be clear, I wholeheartedly agree that fiction can affect reality and it’s actually really beginning to boil my blood when dark romance readers argue it doesn’t…..

[Ellie @Elmo_ui]

Why are people acting like fiction doesn't sometimes shape how people think and behave, simply because we're calling out the toxic nature of the enemies to lovers trope? Noble character can inspire good in people. It's not far fetched to say that ETL normalizes toxic behavior.

[Kia @kiarpennington]

Consequences of them taking over if the vamp hunters don’t stop them, if there is even as big a consequence as the main character is first led to believe
But there is NOTHING at stake when a Black person gets with a racist and has to make them change their views🙄 doesn’t count
