As a mango farm, 2021 was a year of great change. We’ve expanded into running our own export operations into the Middle East and UK markets. We’ve produced the quantity and quality needed for multiple weekly consignments and containers weekly in 2021!

To teach people in rural areas how to sustainably grow and maintain their yields over the year. They can feed themselves and don’t need to keep relying on outside help to sustain them.
KENYA'S EXPORTS GROW
Kenya has recorded a 15.5 per cent increase in total exports for the months of January to August 2021. Total exports stood at Kshs 490 billion from Kshs 424 billion recorded during the same period in 2020.

Our experiences are altered by our perceptions of life. Think out of the box 📦, look at things from a different angle, expand your worldview 🌍.
For example; This is shot isn’t a random picture 📷. It’s a unique perception through a camera lens of a gap in our fence.
Our Directors purchased this piece of land in 2012 as a barren wasteland. They rolled up their sleeves and began farming without any prior knowledge. There were multiple mistakes, heavy investment and numerous challenges. We’ve come a long way, it’s 2021 and we’re still here! 🙏🏾
Good morning all 👋
Don't get into #agriculture because your friend made money last season or as a last resort!
#Farming is not a fashion show! Unless you are ready to take risks with a high return afterward,
Farming requires the plan & support of a #professional to succeed.👍
May November be a prosperous and bountiful month for you 🙏🏾🙌🏾 At #kibweziagroltd, this is one of the busiest months on the #farm because we are harvesting our #mango fruits 🥭
As a #farmer, one cannot have favorites. You must #irrigate young and old trees fairly. All #mango#trees have different needs but that does not mean you favor one over another. On our new #farm, we ensure that our trees get the water they need for optimum growth and survival. 🌳
Agriculture is the greatest and fundamentally the most important of our industries. The cities are but the branches of the tree of national life, the roots of which go deeply into the land. We all flourish or decline with the farmer.” – Bernard Baruch

#leaves tell a story of each #mango tree. The darker the leaves are, the more mature the tree is. Dark green is the eldest, mustard is middle aged and light green is the youngest. If you know your leaves, you’ll know your mango #trees. 🌳 🥭
GRAFTING 101: #grafting is process of altering the shape of a #tree to produce the highest possible yield. In our case as #kibweziagroltd, we graft ALL our #mango trees to maximize on production output.
Today is a very special day! It’s our extremely dedicated and driven CEO and Managing Director’s 50th birthday 🥳 🎉 🎂 Mutheu Kithuma has successfully shattered the glass ceiling in a male dominated industry and is a pioneer farmer, exporter and leader in her own right. 🎈🎊
