@justdawn365 @Amtrak The Omaha station is staffed and there are other passengers that board every night. It's also very safe. I actually lived across the street from that station for a few years around 2024. I used to walk my dog, Robot, over there at train time.

@Amtrak Please bring back dome cars in the new long-distance car orders. Dome cars would turn the sad loss of Superliners into a positive step toward more appealing long distance train travel. VIA is ordering new dome cars. Please bring an American invention back to America!

@Amtrak That doesn't make any sense. When you can't pull a single broken car into the shop to work on it, you have to pull the whole train set out of service. Plus you can't add extra cars in peak seasons.
